| We are engaged!!!! Aaron proposed last Saturday at Longwood Gardens and I must say, I don't think I could have imagined such an amazing proposal. I'm so lucky and blessed to have a wonderful man like him in my life.

| My one pre-kindergarten student on Wednesday randomly walked infront of me, held out his arms in a way that make him look like Jesus on the cross, and said so seriously and almost yelling ' I'm a T-REX!'. Me: 'Whoa you are some T-Rex let me tell you!'. He gave me a quick nod, put his arms down, walked nonchanlantly to my co-op and did the exact same thing, and then to every single adult in the room.
It was adorable and freakin hilarious.
If I got to experience that simple joy just from something that small everyday....

Swan |
Last week, I had the sad task of advising
the campus community of the death of one of our swans, and further advised that
you would receive more information on the causes of death. According
to the veterinarian’s autopsy report, it has been confirmed that Miller (not
S’ville) died of natural causes. There were no signs of trauma on any part
of his body, and it has been determined that an infection leading to loss of
bodily functions was the cause of death. The surviving swan will be
treated as a preventive measure to ensure that she will remain
healthy.
It has been the tradition of the University
to determine the best environment for the surviving mate; and ornithology
experts recommend that the University transport the swan to a natural facility
where he or she can be cared for and be with other members of the
species. As discussed in last week’s e-mail announcement, the
University is in the process of locating another pair of swans as soon as
possible to become a part of our campus community. Faculty, staff,
and students will receive notification when this
occurs.
Though there is some humor in knowing the we Millersvillians love our swans this much...

| Switchfoot- Let That Be Enough
I wish I had what I need
To be on my own
'Cause I feel so defeated
And I'm feeling alone
And it all seems so helpless
And I have no plans
I'm a plane in the sunset
With nowhere to land
And all I see
It could never make me happy And all my sand castles
Spend their time collapsing
Let me know that You hear me
Let me know Your touch
Let me know that You love me
Let that be enough
It's my birthday tomorrow
No one here could now
I was born this Thursday
And I feel stuck
Watching history repeating
Yeah, who am I?
Just a kid who knows he's needy
Let me know that You hear me
Let me know Your touch
Let me know that You love me
And let that be enough
